A set of basic elements for crimping rigid brake lines, allowing the production of several brake lines in typical popular European car models.
• Seamless copper tube
• outer diameter 4.80mm
• wall thickness 0.90mm
• CuDHP R200 acc. to PN-EN 12449
• 20 pieces of rigid brake hose ends with external thread
• Thread: M10x1
• Cone:SF (mushroom)
• Tube diameter:4.75mm - 4.8mm 3/16"
• Catalog number:KPS-2 SF
• Galvanized carbon steel.
The most typical fittings for the production of rigid pressure lines in hydraulic braking systems used in most European cars.
Our sets of components for rigid copper brake lines are made of high-quality, seamless CuDHP R200 copper pipe compliant with the PN-EN 12449 standard. This pipe comes from a leading European steelworks and ensures:
• Maximum pressure resistance: the lines can operate at a working pressure of up to 220 bar, and an additional safety factor of x3.5 means that the burst pressure exceeds 750 bar. For comparison: in a typical braking system, the maximum pressure reaches approximately 100 bar.
• Ease of installation: copper with a hardness of R200 is relatively plastic, so crimping and profiling are possible even using simple hand tools, which significantly simplifies installation.
Ends with High-Grade Galvanized Steel
• Rigid brake hose ends are made of high-grade, free-cutting galvanized steel, providing high corrosion resistance. Each end is manufactured in Poland, ensuring controlled, top-quality workmanship and compliance with European standards.
Assembly and Profiling
• The hoses are delivered in coils, properly protected for transport, and require profiling before assembly. Bending machines can be used for profiling, but a skilled mechanic can easily handle the job without specialized tools.
Advantages of Copper Hoses
• Corrosion resistance – copper wires are much more resistant to corrosion than steel wires, which extends their durability in environments exposed to moisture, road salt, and other atmospheric factors.
• Lower production and installation costs – copper wires are cheaper and easier to manufacture than steel wires, making them an attractive option, especially for owners of older cars where economical operation is a priority.
• Ease of installation and profiling. – thanks to the plasticity of copper, the lines are easy to shape, which makes replacement faster, less complicated, and ultimately cheaper.
• Manufacturer's warranty
