130mm woofers – powerful bass from four speakers

The set includes four 130mm woofers. Each woofer has an impedance of 4 ohms. When two woofers are connected in parallel in one channel, the impedance of the set is 2 ohms.

The woofer diaphragms are made of lightweight and stiff 2-layer paper with an ADC (Active Damping Coating) coating. The coating limits resonances, reduces distortion, and additionally protects the diaphragm from moisture.

The LXPD dust cap, in the style of a phase plug, improves midrange detail at a wider listening angle. This is especially important when the woofers are mounted low in the car doors.

EFF Magnetic System and Voice Coil Cooling

The woofers are equipped with an efficient EFF (Efficient Flux Field) magnetic system. The central hole in the magnet lowers the resonant frequency and supports voice coil cooling.

Important assembly information

Operation of the set without properly connected crossovers can result in permanent damage to the tweeters. Such damage is not covered by warranty.

Depending on the mounting location and orientation of the tweeters, changing the polarity of the wires may help improve response balance around the crossover point.

Optional Excursion XLR resistive attenuators can be used to reduce the treble level by 2-10 dB. These are sold separately.

For a 2-ohm configuration, make sure the amplifier is designed to handle this impedance.
