Jojoba oil is, correctly defined, a liquid wax with a golden-yellow color, obtained from the pressing of the seeds of the Simmondsia chinensis shrub, which occurs naturally in the Americas and is cultivated on plantations in North Africa and Southern Europe.
It consists mainly of saturated and unsaturated alcohols and fatty acids, and is very rich in vitamins A, E, and F.
Jojoba oil, thanks to its close affinity for the components that make up human skin, is very easily absorbed through the skin.
Jojoba nourishes, softens, moisturizes, and lubricates the skin, giving hair unprecedented softness and shine.
Directions for use.
It is an excellent addition to creams, lotions, and shampoos (homemade).
Jojoba oil preserves the skin's natural acidic protective layer, keeping the skin young, supple, and smooth. It is a natural sunscreen with a sun protection factor of approximately 4.
