Bar Feeder, Gripper for CNC Lathe / 30-80mm / 20x20
The sale is for a mechanical bar feeder, gripper for use in numerical control (CNC) lathes.
The presented gripper was developed based on our own many years of experience in machining and manufactured entirely in our company from Polish materials, which ensures failure-free operation for many years.
Initially, it was designed and manufactured for our own needs in order to automate operations and reduce the production time of parts, today our solution is used by hundreds of companies around the world.
• All elements are made in in our company using modern machines and technologies, by POLISH employees under strict quality control,
• The gripper increases the efficiency of the lathe and significantly shortens the time required to eject and set the material to the correct position!
• It is fully autonomous, does not require additional accessories such as water, coolant, air, etc.
• The adjustment screw allows for immediate configuration to the required diameter in a few seconds.
Our gripper is an ideal solution for all plants using CNC lathes that are not equipped with an automatic bar feeder, e.g. due to high purchase costs or large dimensions.
The gripper is adapted for mounting in the tool head socket.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the service life of the gripper claws?
From 50,000 - 500,000 pieces, depending on the type of material being processed and the surface of the bar (rolled, drawn).
It is possible to purchase additional claws at any time in case of wear or collision.
What is the repeatability of the gripper's rod extensions?
How to properly program a lathe to operate a gripper?
1. Calling the turret on which the gripper is mounted.
2. Positioning in the Z axis ..........
3. Moving onto the material in the X axis to grab the bar.
4. Releasing the jaws of the lathe chuck.
5. Time pause for opening the jaws (from 0.1s to 1s).
6. Pulling the bar in the Z axis according to the program guidelines.
7. Clamping the jaws in the lathe chuck.
8. Time pause for closing the jaws (from 0.1s to 1s).
9. Moving out of the material in the X axis.
10. Return to zero and continue production.

How to properly set the spacing of the gripper's claws?
The spacing is adjusted using an Allen key by turning the screw left or right (photo below), after first unlocking the locking screw.
The spacing should be 0.5-1 mm smaller than the rod diameter (depending on the type and weight of the material).
The use of elastic material for the production of the claws allows for strong compression of the material.
