Taking on a new jump or the biggest drop in the bike park can be quite nerve-wracking. This is especially true when you're taking on the challenge for the first time. It's good to know that with the F 1900 CLASSIC® from DT Swiss, you have a wheel on your bike that's strong enough to handle even a bad landing.

Thanks to the latest generation rim DT Swiss Downhill rims, combined with the proven 370 hub, make this wheel built for countless laps in the bike park. The 30mm internal rim width provides plenty of tire volume, helping you find the best grip – both on rooty downhill sections and on the jump line!

If a spoke breaks during intense use, a replacement can be found practically anywhere, because DT Swiss relies on durable DT competition® spokes with the classic J-bend spoke head for the F 1900 CLASSIC.

Equipped this way, you can even leave the brake open.

• TUBELESS:

All DT Swiss wheels are tubeless ready. DT Swiss rim profiles are specifically designed for tubeless use. The rim profile makes it easy to mount the right tire and ensures a perfect fit. The tubeless rim system consists of a DT Swiss tubeless ready sealing tape and a DT Swiss tubeless valve with a length compatible with the rim.

When using tubeless ready tires, a compatible sealant must be used. However, a conventional tire and tube combination can also be used.

• BEARINGS:

Based on many years of experience, DT Swiss uses only durable cartridge bearings without bearing clearance adjustment. DT Swiss hubs are designed to have optimal axial and radial bearing clearance when correctly installed.

Correct bearing preload to compensate for the clamping force of the wheel clamping system is the basis for a play-free hub with minimal friction.

• PRO LOCK®:

In the Pro Lock® process, a special two-component glue is injected into the nipple thread, enabling extremely durable wheel designs. By screwing the nipple into the spoke, the glue is activated and then hardens completely within a few hours.

Re-centring the wheel is possible, but each time this will slightly reduce the adhesive strength.
