This substrate has been designed specifically to provide maximum support for plant growth without the need for CO2 dosing from a cylinder.

Why is it worth it?

This substrate is a true microbiological laboratory in your aquarium. Thanks to its richness in nutrients, it promotes the intensive growth of beneficial bacteria, which naturally transform organic matter, producing CO2 without any external interference.

This biological process turns microorganisms into a natural source of carbon dioxide, and you can physically observe the effects of their work in the form of tiny bubbles rising – evidence of a living, active bottom.

This substrate not only supports biological life but also helps maintain stable and optimal water parameters. It naturally buffers the pH, keeping it within the ideal range for most aquarium plants – usually in the range of 6.4–6.8.

This slightly acidic pH not only promotes better nutrient absorption by plants, but also supports the growth of beneficial bacteria and limits algae growth.

The substrate set also includes two additional packages of fertilizer tablets that support plant development from the very beginning. The second is enriched with iron (Fe), which is responsible for intense leaf coloration and supports photosynthesis.

The tablets can be easily placed directly in the substrate, releasing the nutrients where the plants need them most – directly at the roots.
