How to lower the pH and GH of water? It's easy, just bind all kinds of positively charged water-hardening chemicals. POSITIVELY. That's the key word.

This fact is overlooked by everyone - from the manufacturer to the aquarist. We remember from chemistry that some molecules don't react with each other due to their charges (negative and positive ions).

Nothing has changed in this area! Even if you use a regular product, even the most expensive one, your aquarium may still contain a lot of positively charged particles because the regular media or product repels them and, therefore, can't react with them.

The solution is simple. Use a media that attracts and destroys such molecules. This will permanently lower your pH and GH.

What about negatively charged molecules that harden water?

These don't occur in aquariums. And if they do, they don't have the same effect on pH and GH. Simply get rid of the positive ones. These negative ones are most often absorbed by plants anyway, unlike the bothersome positive ones.

How to use?
