LEDDY TUBE SUNNY DAY&NIGHT – in sync with nature!
Properly selected LEDs are the primary light source in modern aquaristics. They have effectively replaced previously used fluorescent lamps, incandescent lamps, and compact fluorescent lamps. Compared to them, they offer a number of advantages.
They significantly reduce electricity consumption, because while producing the same amount of light as fluorescent lamps, they consume up to half as much. This translates into lower electricity bills, which is beneficial to the aquarist, and helps protect the environment.
They don't need to be replaced frequently, as they can operate for up to 15,000 hours, which in turn translates into significant cost savings, environmental protection, and reduced labor consumption. They do not unnecessarily heat the aquarium water, they illuminate only towards the water surface (so there's no need for additional reflectors), and unlike traditional fluorescent lamps, they come with a two-year manufacturer's warranty.
The LEDDY TUBE 10W SUNNY D&N LED module is designed for lighting freshwater aquariums. It contains carefully selected LEDs that provide ideal aquarium illumination, ensuring excellent living conditions for its inhabitants.
It can be installed in Aquael covers and lamps. Thanks to the use of accessory T5/T8 adapters, it can also be installed in any cover or lamp designed for traditional aquarium fluorescent lamps. The accessory DUBLED hanger allows you to add an additional module to the lamp or cover, thus increasing the tank's lighting.
The LEDDY TUBE 10W SUNNY D&N LED module is equipped with a Day & Night function. It operates in three operating modes: DAY / DAYBREAK / NIGHT. DAY is the basic and most powerful light, for illuminating the aquarium during the day.
DAYBREAK reduces daylight output to 50% plus blue light. It works well as the first mode after dark and when feeding fish – especially if you have timid fish. NIGHT is a blue glow that allows for unique observation of the aquarium after dark, including nocturnal fish and animals.
Day & Night lighting will beautifully highlight your aquarium arrangement both day and night, and will also make the interior of the tank more cozy. To change the DAY/DAYBREAK/NIGHT mode, turn the module off and on using the switch within 5 seconds.
To switch directly to DAY mode, turn the module off for longer than 5 seconds and then back on.
