It combines a thermostat, a humidistat, and a programmer that regulates the times of day and night.
Three electrical plug outputs operate independently of each other, providing power to the connected device.
Output "A" - temperature; can be programmed for heating or cooling, and different temperatures can be set for day and night.
Output "B" regulates the lighting.
Output "C" regulates the humidity inside the enclosure.
Outputs "A" and "C" have two independent probes, allowing you to choose the measurement location tailored to the terrarium's design and the animal's needs.
The thermostat has a hysteresis function, reflecting the natural environment, e.g., passing clouds.
THC09 is equipped with a large, easy-to-read, backlit LCD display. It's easy to program and install in any terrarium, thanks to the included self-adhesive Velcro and controller mounting bracket. Full control over temperature and humidity increases or decreases promotes your pet's well-being and stimulates appetite, reproductive behavior, and helps induce hibernation.
The device remembers the setting in the event of a power outage.
- Connect a heating device (heat lamp, mat, cable) to the first channel and set a time interval, e.g., 9:00-19:00. Set the temperature for this interval, e.g., 28ºC. Set the second time interval to 19:00-9:00 and the temperature to 22ºC.
- Connect the lighting to the second channel and set the time interval, e.g., 8:00-20:00
- Connect the humidity increasing device (fog generator, sprinkler) to the third channel and set the parameters - humidity, e.g., 70%
The device is ready for operation. With the above settings, the thermostat will automatically maintain the tank temperature at 28ºC during the day (9:00 AM to 7:00 PM), and the hygrostat will maintain the humidity at 70%.
After 7:00 PM, it will lower the tank temperature to 22ºC, and the humidity will automatically raise to 80%-90%. Lowering the temperature and increasing the humidity will stimulate the upcoming night, which will occur at 8:00 PM.
In the morning, the "sun for the run" will rise at 8:00 AM, and the temperature will rise to 28ºC in an hour.
