Every tank requires certain cyclical tasks, such as water changes, bottom desilting, additional filtration, and cleaning dirt from stones and other decorative elements. All of these tasks are necessary and have a rather bad reputation.
However, there is one device that will make all of these operations easier!
What can I do with the Hi-X-Scouring 3?
The device comes with a large set of connectors, tubes, and other adapters. Thanks to them, you can quickly adapt the tool to various tasks.
- bottom desludging
- collecting e.g. food from hard-to-reach places
- water filtration
- bottom desludging with simultaneous filtration
- water changes (i.e., adding and withdrawing water from the aquarium)
- collecting dirt, including e.g. algae from stones, roots, and other decorations
- and many others related to cleaning, desludging, and filtration
- flow regulation. Right below the handle, you have easy access to the pump capacity regulation. You can quickly change the suction power to suit your needs.
- long tube. The set includes 3 tubes and two cups that allow you to adjust the length of the desludging device from 40cm to 115cm (minimum length and maximum length)
- two sizes of desludging cups. Choose the size of the desludging cup. Use single or double.
- Loc-line inlet. You have a flattened inlet nozzle with adjustable angle. Choose the inlet position that suits you best – draw water from wherever you want.
- Large filter. The set includes a cartridge holder (two included). Use it to filter the water. Add any other cartridges as needed to improve filtration.
- Hose connector. The set also includes a hose connector. You can easily drain or add water to the aquarium.
