KATO N Gauge 313-8000 Series Tokaido Main Line 3-Car Set 10-1749 Model Train

We are releasing the 313-8000 series after its transfer to the Shizuoka area. The 313-8000 series was originally manufactured for the "Central Liner," a rapid service that operated between Nagoya and Nakatsugawa on the Chuo Main Line requiring a numbered boarding ticket. With its silver front end and a color scheme featuring extensive use of orange, it makes a significantly different impression compared to other 313 series trains. Its interior is also a cut above, featuring premium amenities unique to a paid-fare train, such as reclining seats with wider pitch, box seats with large tables at the car ends, and partitions next to the doors. After being transferred to the Shizuoka Vehicle Depot, it became a hot topic as it began operating primarily as a local train, not only on the Tokaido Main Line in the Shizuoka area but also on the Gotemba and Minobu Lines. You can now enjoy the 313-8000 series with destinations such as "Shizuoka" and "Hamamatsu," which were not seen previously. The front coupler has been updated to a KATO hookless close-coupled coupler with a 2-stage electric coupler for a more realistic appearance.
