Marumi Optical 52mm EXUS Lens Protect Mark2 (Marumi Co., Ltd.)

The new low-reflection coating, which suppresses surface reflection to the absolute minimum and achieves a reflectivity of 0.2%, brings out the lens's inherent descriptive power to the fullest extent. The EXUS Lens Protect Mark II is a high-performance lens protection filter that does not affect visible light and is colorless and transparent, and is equipped with the same "ultra-low reflection coating [reflectivity: 0.2%]", "anti-static coating", "water-repellent coating", and "fouling-resistant coating" as the flagship model: EXUS Lens Protect SOLID, maximizing the lens's inherent descriptive power and delivering high image quality. It is less likely for fine dust and dirt to adhere due to static electricity, and even if they do adhere, they can be easily blown away with a blower, so you can enjoy shooting without stress. Even when shooting near water or in rainy weather, the highly water-repellent coating repels water droplets, so even if water droplets adhere, they can be easily blown away with a blower, allowing you to continue shooting smoothly without stress. The filter features a highly oil-repellent anti-fouling coating on both the front (entry side) and back (lens-mounting side), making it easy to wipe away fingerprints that may accidentally accumulate, allowing you to continue shooting without stress. It maintains flatness and strength while maintaining a thin frame design. The improved filter glass enhances both flatness stability and protective function. To stabilize flatness, the thickness of the filter glass in conventional products has been increased from 1.3mm to 2.0mm. Moreover, even though the filter glass is thicker, the thickness of the frame itself remains almost the same as before. Furthermore, the increased thickness also improves the protective filter's function.
