MITSUMOTO SAKARI Sharpening 1000 and 3000 White Knife Wooden Stand with Base Double-Sided Stone, Grit, Steel, Sharpening, Non-Slip

White Jade Double-Sided Sharpening Stone: This water-based sharpening stone, made with white jade, allows you to gradually sharpen the edge of your knife blade. It features two sharpening surfaces, 1000 grit and 3000 grit, allowing you to perform everything from daily edge adjustments to finishing touches with a single tool. How to use 1000 and 3000 grit: The 1000 grit side is for adjusting the edge of a dull blade or for intermediate sharpening, while the 3000 grit side is suitable for fine-tuning the sharpening marks. You can use both sides depending on the condition of the blade. Non-slip wooden base: The wooden base has a TPR non-slip surface on the bottom to prevent movement of the whetstone and base during sharpening. Placing it on a flat, stable surface makes it easier to check the sharpening angle while working. Preparation by soaking for approximately 5 minutes: Before use, soak the whetstone in water for approximately 5 minutes to smooth the surface. Maintain a knife angle of approximately 15 to 20 degrees and sharpen the blade by moving the whetstone in a consistent direction from the base to the tip. Suitable for both Japanese and Western knives: Can be for maintaining santoku knives, chef's knives, paring knives, vegetable knives, and other types of knives. After use, rinse the surface of the whetstone, dry it thoroughly, and store it in a well-ventilated place. Double-sided grinding wheel 1000/3000
