What is Soilico ReptileClay?

Soilico ReptileClay is a mixture of clay, sand, and calcium carbonate created for desert and semi-desert terrariums. What is it used for? Our structural clay was created primarily for forming terrarium walls, but it also works perfectly as a substrate – once dried, it retains its durability, structure, and natural appearance, perfectly imitating a desert or semi-desert environment.

It allows you to recreate every detail of nature – from the golden dunes of the Sahara, through the rocky deserts of Arizona, to the red rocks of the Australian outback. And all this with unprecedented ease.

How to use?

To start, simply mix the clay with a small amount of water. Then, if necessary, gradually add more until you achieve the right consistency. The ideal consistency is one that resembles modeling clay – flexible, but not too wet.

This makes the clay easy to mold and allows for precise modeling of walls, caves, or other structures in the terrarium. After finishing work, place the terrarium in a dry place and let the clay dry completely before introducing animals.
