ETRTO is the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organization. The ETRTO size is the best size to check whether the inner tube we buy has the same dimensions as the one we currently have on our bike. These are the numbers written on the tire in the same format as the postal code, for example 32-622.

This means the tire is 32mm wide and fits a 622mm rim. Therefore, the inner tube we are looking for must have a diameter of 622mm and a width appropriate for our tire.
