✅What is vacuum insulation?

• Vacuum means that air between the outer and inner layers The stainless steel has been removed to create vacuum insulation. This blocks heat transfer through the air (conduction). ZOJIRUSHI vacuum insulation also contains a layer of copper or aluminum tightly wrapped around the outer inner layer of stainless steel.

• The gap between the two layers is very narrow and is about 1mm so all ZOJIRUSHI thermoses and mugs have a larger capacity than can be assessed from the outside.
