✅What is vacuum insulation?

• Vacuum means that The air between the outer and inner layers of stainless steel has been removed to create a vacuum insulation. This blocks heat transfer through the air (conduction). ZOJIRUSHI vacuum insulation also includes a layer of copper or aluminum tightly wrapped around the outer inner layer of stainless steel.

• The gap between the two layers is very narrow, approximately 1mm, making all ZOJIRUSHI thermoses and mugs have a larger capacity than can be judged from the outside.
