HSS bimetal hole saw for wood and metal 64 mm 4-6 t/inch
High-quality bimetal hole saw for making holes in non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, zinc, stainless steel, wood, plasterboard, plastics, etc. Hole saw with efficient and durable bimetal construction ensuring long service life.
VARIO type teeth with variable intertooth distance
The distance between the teeth (tooth pitch) is unevenly distributed. The distances between the teeth are different for each tooth group and amount to 4 to 6 teeth/inch in this case (4 to 6 teeth on each part of the entire cutting edge closing in 25.4 mm).
This arrangement determines the intended use of the hole saw, which is particularly dedicated to quick and clean drilling of holes in:
- non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, brass, zinc,
- stainless steel min. 1 mm thick,
- wood and wood-based materials,
- plastics, composites, etc.
Bimetal steel hole saw for maximum service life
The hole saw is made of high-quality HSS Bimetal steel containing 8% cobalt, ensuring excellent cutting properties and long tool life.
What is bimetal?
Bimetallic steel (bimetal or bi-metal) is a combination of two types of steel with different properties, guaranteeing high resistance to damage under high stresses and very economical cutting performance.
The spring steel back gives the tool flexibility. The HSS cutting part with 8% cobalt guarantees long-lasting sharpness, durability and effectiveness when cutting a wide variety of materials.
To maximize the life of holesaws, we recommend using a cooling liquid during the metal cutting process.
