Converse Star Player White / Black (Unisex) Skate Shoes 157675C

The Converse Star Player was launched in 1975, featuring a design lineage directly inherited from the original basketball shoe—the All Star. It consists of a canvas upper and a thick rubber outsole, with the iconic arrow-star logo adorning the side of the shoe to highlight its classic basketball heritage. The Star Player’s most iconic moment occurred June 7, 1978, during the final seconds of Game 7 of the NBA Finals, when Washington Bullets player Wes Unseld—wearing the Star Player Ox—stepped up to the free-throw line. Previously swept twice in the NBA Finals, Unseld engaged in fierce, physical battles with the Seattle SuperSonics inside the paint throughout this series.
