sake is delicious and gentle on the body.
1. Becomes fragrant and mellow.
2. Alcohol is less likely to remain in the body.
3. Warms the body and relieves stress.
Warming sake enhances its aroma and smooths out the alcohol, making it easier to drink. In contrast, with cold sake, absorption begins only when the alcohol warms up in the body, taking longer to feel its effects. sake, on the other hand, starts being absorbed immediately upon drinking, leading to quicker effects.
sake makes sake even more delicious.
[Recommendation for Sake]
Cold seasons are perfect for enjoying delicious sake. Warming sake to drink with warm dishes, known as "kanzake," is a luxurious way to enjoy this time of year. Especially, and lukewarm sake enhance the flavor of the drink, warming both heart and body. One of the joys of sake is that its taste changes with temperature. I strongly recommend enjoying the original flavor of sake with a slightly lower lukewarm temperature. Experience the moment of savoring the gradually spreading umami while warming your chilled body.
Heating in a microwave can ruin the taste!
Are you heating it in a microwave?
Microwaves heat food and liquids by vibrating water molecules, causing them to heat up. Therefore, when you try to heat sake in a microwave, the friction heat from the microwaves puts significant stress on the sake, destroying its taste and aroma. Additionally, when a tokkuri is placed inside, a significant temperature difference occurs between the top, middle, and bottom, resulting in convection that cools it down quickly, making it less enjoyable.
[Alcohol will evaporate!]
The boiling point of alcohol is 78.5°C, but the temperature at the top of the tokkuri in a microwave can reach nearly 90°C. As a result, the alcohol evaporates, rendering it ineffective. Therefore, heating in a microwave is not advisable!
