Air Jordan 11 Retro GG Heiress 'Velvet' (Unisex) Night Maroon / Metallic Gold-Night Maroon Kids' Basketball Shoes 852625 650

The Air Jordan 11 is Michael Jordan’s personal favorite model, symbolizing his comeback and subsequent resurgence to greatness. Tinker Hatfield first used patent leather—inspired by lawnmower housings—as the upper material for the Air Jordan 11. The innovative nylon mesh upper and tongue design drew inspiration from the architecture of Denver International Airport. A lightweight mesh-fiber construction throughout the shoe significantly reduced overall weight while effectively preventing deformation or stretching. The midsole features full-length AIR SOLE cushioning and, in a revolutionary move, incorporates a full-length carbon fiber plate—designed to prevent torsion and rapidly stabilize the outsole—marking a major performance breakthrough and establishing the precedent for high-end basketball shoes featuring carbon plates.
