Converse Chuck 70 High 'Psy Kicks Pack - White' (Unisex) White / Black / Egret Canvas Shoes 164209C

The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star is the original basketball shoe and was once the official shoe of the NBA. Composed of a rubber sole and canvas upper, it was launched in 1949 and quickly became a popular basketball shoe across the industry—a design that remains unchanged to this day. At the time, basketball player Chuck Taylor joined a Converse-sponsored basketball team, helped market and sell the All Star, and contributed improvements to the shoe; in 1930, Converse decided to add Chuck Taylor’s name to the shoe. With nearly a century of rich and storied history, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star stands as an iconic symbol of American culture and, today, has become synonymous with canvas sneakers—continuing to enjoy widespread admiration and affection.
