Air Dynamic Wired in Audio-Technica ATH-ADX3000 Open-Back Headphones, [Made Japan]

A gateway to an unknown world of sound. The exposed headphone drivers and free airflow of the open-back headphones 'ATH-ADX3000' produce pure sound that allows you to discover new things even in your favorite songs that you've listened to countless times. It's an entry point to an unknown world of sound, different from both speakers and closed-back headphones. The pure and realistic sound field achieved through true open-air audio: Air movement is the foundation of sound. Designing headphones for sound is about moving air and controlling its flow. The open-back headphones 'ATH-ADX3000' eliminate restrictions on airflow and eliminate unwanted sound distortion. Audio-Technica's proprietary Core Mount Technology (PAT.P) is employed in the same way as in the ATH-ADX5000, optimizing the positional relationship between the baffle damper and ear pads, and positioning the voice coil in a way that divides the sound space from the ear to the housing in half. This results in an extremely pure sound field relative to the sound source, producing clear and crisp sound reproduction. Impedance specifications for use with portable devices: While the ATH-ADX5000 was a high-impedance specification intended for connection with high-end audio equipment, this product adopts an impedance that connects with general-purpose equipment. This expands the range of listening environments. Characteristics of Open-Back Drivers: Pure Mid-Low Frequencies, Pure Bass Open-back drivers are fundamentally different from closed-back driver designs. There is no air resistance that occurs in a sealed space, nor is there an acoustic chamber (sound space) for tuning or adjusting the bass frequencies. Therefore, the driver must be carefully developed to produce a full-range signal down to the lowest frequencies. As a result, it is possible to produce extremely pure bass without artificial resonance while maintaining very pure mid-high frequencies.
