The Jordan 8 Retro Doernbecher GS brings iconic style and meaningful storytelling to kids' footwear. Designed as part of the celebrated Doernbecher Freestyle program—a collaboration between, Jordan Brand, and Oregon Health & Science University’s Doernbecher Children’s Hospital—this GS (Grade School) edition honors young patient designers with bold colors, expressive graphics, and heartfelt details. Built for comfort and movement, the shoe features a premium leather and synthetic upper with signature Jordan 8 elements: visible heel air cushioning, a supportive midfoot strap, and a durable rubber outsole with multi-directional traction. Its low-top silhouette offers flexibility for everyday wear, whether the court, at school, or around town. The vibrant colorway—featuring rich navy, pops of electric orange, and crisp white—pairs with custom tongue and insole artwork inspired by the original Doernbecher design. Thoughtful touches like the embroidered hospital logo the heel and special packaging reinforce the collection’s mission of hope and healing. Engineered specifically for growing feet, the Jordan 8 Retro Doernbecher GS delivers responsive cushioning, secure fit, and all-day support—making it as functional as it is inspiring. A standout choice for kids who love basketball, appreciate artful design, and value purpose-driven products, this shoe bridges sport performance with compassionate creativity.
