1. Countersunk head with TX socket

Ensures proper countersink in the fastened element. The TX socket guarantees optimal torque transfer.

Additional coils on the tip facilitate screwing - they allow you to "grab" the wood with less pressure.

They are most often used for leveling roof battens as an alternative to traditional screws/nails and wedges.

Wedges once commonly used in combination with traditional screws or nails are less precise, and leveling takes significantly more time. A significant disadvantage of wooden wedges is that they dry out and, over time, fall out, leading to a loss of structural stability, also known as floating.

The new solution, spacer screws, meets the needs of contractors and solves the problems of previous solutions. These products are ideal for both new roofing and renovations of old roofs, where structural elements can be reused.

While a properly constructed new structure generally has no irregularities or requires only minor corrections, the use of spacer screws is extremely helpful in renovation processes.

• Before starting the installation, select the appropriate length of the screws depending on the thickness of the elements being fastened and the minimum anchorage depth.

• The wooden elements being connected should be free from defects (knots, cracks, discoloration, rot, structural and shape defects, mechanical damage), as this reduces their strength.

• The screws should be installed using a screwdriver and a suitable bit for the socket type TX.

• Screws should be screwed directly into the wooden substrate without drilling holes first.
