Vans Sk8-Hi Reissue 'Checkerboard' (Unisex) Black / Citadel Skate Shoes VN0003CAIB7

The Vans SK8-Hi was launched in 1978. Its name derives from the English words 'Skater High' and it was Vans' first high-top sneaker to feature the iconic Sidestripe side stripe design. Known for its highly distinctive silhouette and side-panel stripe, the SK8-Hi has become one of Vans' most iconic and representative classic footwear models. Vans frequently uses the SK8-Hi as a base model for collaborations with bands, artists, and street performers—retaining the classic silhouette and design elements while introducing contemporary,个性-driven, and distinctive sneakers that remain timeless favorites among sneaker enthusiasts. In 1978, the SK8-Hi debuted as the high-top version of the Old Skool, carrying forward the signature side stripe. This model features a reinforced heel, offering skateboarders enhanced protection during bowl competitions.
