Minwax Paste Finishing Wax does not create the look typical of thick varnish. Instead, it leaves a delicate, elegant shine that highlights the character of the surface and gives it a smooth, pleasant feel.

Available Color Variants

Before purchase and application, check the variant indicated on the package label. Dark color can visibly change the appearance of light wood and accumulate in recesses, so always test in an inconspicuous area.
1. Make sure the surface is completely dry.
2. Remove dust, dirt, grease and other contaminants.
3. If the wood has recently been stained, wait at least 24 hours before applying wax.
4. Check that the previous coating is properly dried and well bonded to the surface.
5. Test on a small, inconspicuous area to assess the color and final gloss level.
How to Use
1. Apply a small amount of wax to a clean, soft cloth.
2. Spread a very thin and even layer over the wood. surface.
3. For easier application, a small amount of wax can be placed between two layers of cotton gauze and only the amount that penetrates the material is rubbed in.
4. Leave the wax to dry thoroughly for approximately 10-15 minutes.
5. Polish the surface with a clean cloth, a polisher with a weighted pad, or an electric polisher.
6. If you want a deeper shine, apply a second thin coat and polish again after drying.
Do not apply too thick a coat. Excess wax can make polishing more difficult, prolong drying time, and leave uneven streaks.
1. Remove dirt with a slightly damp cloth and a small amount of mild detergent.
2. Do not flood the surface with water.
3. After drying, gently polish the wood with a clean, soft cloth.
4. If the shine fades, apply another very thin coat of wax.
