What's included and how does it work

The filter is mounted directly to the downspout – without cutting the gutter or permanently interfering with the installation. Water flowing from the roof passes through two stages of filtration: a large internal filter traps leaves and larger debris, while a small internal filter captures smaller particles.

The purified water is directed through a 50 cm hose to a rainwater tank.

Why two-stage filtration matters

Most inexpensive water traps have a single filter – it traps leaves but allows fine debris, pollen, and sand to pass straight into the reservoir. The SET IFILWS uses two-stage filtration: first, a large filter traps leaves and coarser particles, then a small filter captures what has passed through the first filter.

The water entering the reservoir is clean and suitable for watering directly without additional filtration. The two reducers included in the set allow the set to fit four popular round gutter sizes – one set covers the vast majority of standard gutter installations.

Which gutters does the set fit?

The set fits round downspouts with a diameter of 76, 92, 102 and 112 mm. It does not fit rectangular gutters.

Does the set fit any rainwater tank?

Yes – the product is universal and fits all plastic rainwater tanks and barrels, including all Prosperplast tank models.

Does installation require cutting the gutter?

No – the filter is mounted on the downspout without permanent interference with the installation. Installation and removal are simple and require no specialized tools.

Is a 50 cm hose sufficient to connect the tank?

A 50 cm hose is sufficient for placing the tank directly next to the downspout. For greater spacing, the hose can be extended with a standard garden hose.

How many sets do I need for two tanks?

One set serves one downspout and one tank. For two tanks connected to two gutters, two sets are required.
