Converse Jack Purcell Low 'Happy Camper - Egret' (Unisex) Egret Canvas Shoes 167921C

The Converse Jack Purcell is a classic Converse shoe model, first introduced in the 20th century. It was personally designed by Jack Purcell—the world badminton at the time—according to the specific requirements of badminton, and named after him. The shoes were originally manufactured by B.F. Goodrich. In 1973, Converse acquired B.F. Goodrich’s footwear division. Later, boosted by the influence of Kurt Cobain, lead singer of Nirvana, the Converse Jack Purcell surged in popularity and maintained its cultural impact for decades thereafter.
