Nike PG 2 'NCAA Tournament' (Unisex) White / Multi-Color Basketball Shoes AJ5163 100

Tony Hardman, the designer of Nike's PG series, endowed the PG2 with several improvements. Unlike the PG1's internal bootie and forefoot strap system, the PG2 adopts a traditional tongue construction. Meanwhile, to reinforce Paul George's signature lockdown concept—which he highly favors—Hardman introduced an all-new dynamic 'wing' structure. another note, the Zoom Air units featured in the PG1 were also carried over to this new model. Regarding the PG2's Zoom Air, Hardman explained: 'We increased the thickness of the forefoot Zoom Air unit to 10 mm, and the foot now makes direct contact with it. The PG2's design positions the Zoom Air unit almost exclusively between the foot and the ground, delivering substantial propulsion for Paul George—and for everyone who wears the PG2.'
