Sony Songs of Japan Crying Arrangement Seiji Yamashita Music Album

[Product Description]

Introduction

In 1994, the groundbreaking album 'Berlin Philharmonic 12 Cellists' released by Founhouse is revived in the latest remastering as 'Crying as Much as You Want to Cry ~ Songs of Japan'.

Following the success of the previous album 'The Sadness of The Beatles' (also released simultaneously), Seiji Yamashita collaborated with the 'Berlin Philharmonic 12 Cellists', a powerful and versatile cello ensemble, to produce this second album. It features arrangements of Japanese folk songs and popular tunes such as 'Climbing Moon', 'Red Shoes', and 'Oboro Moonlit Night'. The arrangement of 'Climbing Moon', originally adapted for a performance before Emperor Showa during his visit to Germany, inspired the creation of this album. Through Seiji Yamashita's arrangements and the performances of the 12 cellists, the nostalgic and poignant emotions embedded in each piece are beautifully and powerfully expressed. These melodies are truly the 'hometown' of the Japanese people, evoking various nostalgic feelings when heard.
