Alcoholometer in a plastic tube – this hydrometer allows you to measure the alcohol content in colorless, sugar-free vodkas.

• Easy to use — to take a measurement, place the float in the test tube, then fill it with liquid so that the hydrometer floats freely. It's important that the float doesn't touch the walls of the test tube during the measurement.
Take the reading by reading the percentage from the bottom meniscus of the liquid.
• Shatterproof test tube — the plastic test tube is durable, so it will last for years. You can safely measure in it, and thanks to the included cap, store the hydrometer in it.
An alcohol meter is a device that will certainly be useful in your household, but also in bars when diluting alcohol for drinks! The meter consists of a test tube and a float, with a large scale marked from 0 to 95% alcohol by volume.
This device allows you to easily, quickly, and most importantly, precisely measure alcohol percentages in pure alcohols (vodka, spirits, moonshine), meaning those that do not contain added sugars or dyes that would falsify the result.
Therefore, the alcohol meter is not suitable for measuring alcohol percentages in wines and liqueurs! Measuring is extremely simple, and the result is read directly from the scale, without additional calculations.
The flat bottom of the test tube makes measuring easier by stabilizing the float. The vessel can be rested on a countertop during measurement, but it should be held steady at all times.
Because devices are calibrated at 20°C, it is recommended to take readings at the same temperature. Because liquids change their concentration (molecules expand and contract) with temperature, measurements taken at 20°C will be the most reliable and precise.
The glass alcoholmeter is equipped with a shatterproof test tube made of a material suitable for contact with food — including alcohol. The stopper included with the test tube protects the alcoholmeter from slipping out during storage.
1. Place the measuring device in a test tube or other equally tall container.
2. Then pour the appropriate amount of liquid into the test tube (the dipstick should not touch the walls or bottom of the container).
3. Once the immersion level has stabilized, take a reading.
