It supports VDSL2, ADSL, ADSL2 and ADSL2+ connections, allowing it to work with compatible Internet services provided by an ISP.

The router delivers wireless speeds of up to 867 Mb/s on the 5 GHz band and 300 Mb/s on the 2.4 GHz band. The four external antennas support wireless coverage, while dual-band operation enables compatible devices to connect using either the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz frequency.

The device is equipped with three 10/100 Mb/s LAN ports, one 10/100 Mb/s LAN/WAN port and one RJ11 DSL port. It can operate as a VDSL/ADSL modem router or as a wireless router. The package includes a DSL splitter, RJ11 DSL cable and RJ45 Ethernet cable for connection and installation.

Archer VR300 supports VDSL2 up to profile 17a, G.vector and G.INP, as well as ADSL, ADSL2 and ADSL2+ standards. It also supports ATM and PPP connection protocols, bridge mode, up to eight PVC connections, IPv4 and IPv6, IGMP v1/v2/v3 and IPTV features including IGMP Proxy/Snooping, Bridge and VLAN tagging support.

Network management and protection features include parental control, access control, NAT firewall, SPI firewall, IP and MAC address binding, IP and domain filtering, DoS attack protection, static routing, DHCP server and client functions, port forwarding, DMZ, UPnP and Dynamic DNS support for DynDNS and NO-IP. VPN pass-through is available for PPTP, L2TP and IPSec.
