HOW TO E:
Test LED:
Use the test pen to touch the positive and negative terminals of the LED or both ends of the lamp holder simultaneously to light up the LED. Meanwhile, the test meter display will show voltage and current readings. Rotate the "Voltage Adjustment" knob to adjust the output voltage level. Press the "Current Output Switch" to adjust the output current level. (The position of the current adjustment dial corresponding to the output current magnitude may vary slightly depending on the specific test LED used.) Adjusting the output current level will also affect the brightness of the test LED.
Audio Prompt:
1. During testing, if the test instrument emits a "Bi~" sound, it indicates the test lamp is functioning normally, allowing you to proceed with testing without visual inspection, thereby improving efficiency;
2. If no sound is heard, it indicates an issue with the test lamp;
3. If an alarm sound is detected, it means the lamp is illuminated; this test instrument can be used for fault isolation to locate the leakage point.
Leakage Detection Function:
If you need to test whether a lamp, lamp housing, or finished product exhibits leakage current, simply place the "Leakage Detection Probe" on the metal surface of the lamp housing; if the lamp lights up and then emits a "Bi~" sound, it signifies the product is normal. If an alarm sound occurs instead, it indicates the lamp has a leakage hazard, and you should promptly use this tester to locate the leakage point.
Switching Output Mode:
Set the current range to maximum while simultaneously adjusting the voltage to maximum; short-circuit the positive and negative output terminals for 5 seconds, and the device will display "HT" or "Lo", completing the output mode switch.
"H" mode (factory default): After the device detects the lamp is lit, it automatically switches output current to the current range level currently selected. Suitable for testing high-power lamps.
