Air Jordan 3 Retro 'International Flight' (Unisex) Sail / Sport Royal-Fire Red Vintage Basketball Shoes 136064 140

The Air Jordan 3 launched in late 1987, designed by then-unknown designer Tinker Hatfield, who stepped in to create this groundbreaking masterpiece. At Michael Jordan’s request, the shoe featured a lower-cut collar; its upper incorporated highly decorative elephant-print textures; and it debuted the iconic, expressive Jumpman logo for the first time. Its midsole employed a split Air-Sole unit—front and rear—and innovatively introduced visible heel air cushioning, delivering both impact absorption and stability while enhancing aesthetic appeal. During the 1987–1988 season, Jordan averaged 35 points per game, earning the NBA Regular Season MVP award, Defensive Player of the Year, and his first selection to the NBA All-Defensive First Team. He also won the All-Star Game MVP and successfully defended his Slam Dunk Contest title.
