CU-5050 Cable (for SL-5 Series) The CU-5050 cable is a product that embodies the ideal cable for connecting effectors, developed through Free The Tone's long-standing system creation. It features 50 strands of 0.08mm oxygen-free copper (OFC) twisted together to achieve superior sound quality, flexibility, and durability. Additionally, a high-density braided shield makes it resistant to noise.

Compared to the CU-416, the CU-5050 produces a thicker sound. It is recommended for pedalboard construction for bassists, multi-string guitarists, and guitarists using down-tuning, as well as for wiring effects such as FUZZ and overdrive that demand a thicker sound.

- Unlike conventional plug structures, the internal connection between the cable core and the plug tip is secured, eliminating the risk of disconnection and ensuring a strong, safe connection. - The plug tip and cable core are joined at an extremely short distance, preventing sound quality deterioration and ensuring high sound quality. - Since it does not use solder, it is unaffected by solder-related sound quality issues. Its ultra-compact design allows flexible installation even in tight pedalboards. - It features the simplest structure in the world, making it easy to manufacture with a solderless plug.
