■ About the Mine Warfare Group... The Mine Warfare Group specializes in mine warfare and amphibious operations. Historically, it was responsible for mine clearance in Japanese coastal waters after World War II, removing approximately 65,700 mines to ensure safe maritime traffic. In response to changing international circumstances, it was also tasked with amphibious operations starting in August 2013. During the Korean War in 1950, it was dispatched to remove mines laid during the conflict, and after the Gulf War in 1991, it was deployed overseas for mine clearance in the Persian Gulf as Japan’s first international contribution.

The crown is positioned at 2 o’clock and 4 o’clock for wrist comfort. - Water resistance of 200M, compliant with ISO 6425 Diver’s Watch standards, with a screw-down crown to withstand diving missions. - The dial uses a high light-transmittance special plastic that can be charged by sunlight or indoor light.
