HobbyJapan Fungi Japanese Edition

[Product Description]

Product Description

'Fungi' is a two-player card game. Players venture into the Satoyama (satoyama) landscape to acquire cards such as mushrooms and frying pans, with the goal of making delicious mushroom dishes.

The mushrooms appearing in the 'Forest' include ten types such as Naratake, Anzustake, Maitake, and Shiitake. Players aim to collect the 'Forest' cards, which consist of 8 revealed cards from the deck, to achieve high scores. If there are three or more of the same mushroom and one frying pan, players can cook and score points. Alternatively, if they do not want to cook, they can gather two or more of the same mushroom to sell. Sold mushrooms become 'Staves,' which can be paid to access deeper cards in the 'Forest.'

Players can choose to gather nearby mushrooms without overextending or sell unwanted mushrooms to obtain staves to reach deeper into the forest. The forest changes constantly, so strategic decision-making is essential.

Additionally, players can acquire valuable items such as 'Cooking Sake' and 'Butter' to prepare mushroom dishes and score higher points, often ahead of their opponents.

With bright, cheerful artwork and beautiful mushroom illustrations, this easy-to-play competitive card game is now available in Japanese!
