The AD-10 is an acoustic preamp for discerning guitarists who demand exceptional sound from their electric-acoustic guitars in live performance. The AD-10 faithfully reproduces the detail of an acoustic guitar with high-quality sound, and its tone shaping is achieved through simple knob-based operation on the panel. The input circuitry features a thorough low-noise design capable of high-quality transmission of signals from onboard preamps and piezo pickups, with two inputs supporting both piezo and magnetic pickups. It includes Acoustic Resonance to recreate the natural “resonance” of the acoustic guitar, a compressor with MDP processing, and a 4-band EQ optimized for acoustic guitars, enabling high-quality sound creation. Detailed sub-parameters and dedicated effects such as ambience are also available. Furthermore, it is equipped with two notches and a reduction function with minimal tonal changes as a countermeasure against howling. Stereo dual outputs (XLR, standard) allow for various output settings to suit live performance situations.

・The AD-10 is equipped with two inputs that can handle a variety of situations. You can input from a guitar with two pickups, such as piezo and magnetic, or switch between two connected guitars. Input gain and EQ can be set appropriately for each input, and a boost function is also included to change the volume difference between fingerpicking and strumming or the volume during solo performances with the press of a button. In addition to standard jacks, it is equipped with stereo-compatible XLR terminals. A ground lift switch is also included, allowing direct connection to a PA system as a direct box. The output can also be used for individual outputs of the input pre and post, or for outputting connected guitars separately, accommodating a variety of scenarios. ・The AD-10 is equipped with Acoustic Resonance, which reproduces the natural, rich resonance of an acoustic guitar lost due to pickup characteristics on a live stage. It also features a compressor utilizing unique advanced “MDP” technology that responds to the nuances of phrasing, providing a consistently natural feel and sound. This is a next-generation compression effect that matches all acoustic guitar playing styles. Furthermore, simply turning the knobs intricately links internal parameters, providing a high-quality spaciousness while preserving the delicate resonance of the acoustic guitar, and also includes ambience, familiar to guitarists, as well as delay/chorus, which are powerful for creating impressive tones. All of these effects are high-quality sounds optimized for acoustic guitar. In addition to the knobs on the panel, sub-parameters are also available inside the unit. For example, in the “EQ” section, you can change the Q of the MID, adjust the tone of the booster function, select and adjust the tone of the Acoustic Resonance type, and achieve a custom sound. ・As an essential measure against howling in live performances, it is equipped with a reduction function specifically for the low-frequency range prone to howling. It suppresses howling quickly with minimal change in sound quality simply by turning the knobs. In addition, it is equipped with two notch filters that can automatically detect howling points, effectively eliminating howling. It also features a looper function capable of up to 80 seconds of loop recording/playback, enhancing performances such as singer-songwriter sessions, and is always ready for real-time performance. You can also connect a foot switch or expression pedal to the external control terminal and assign various functions to customize the operation of the unit to your liking. ・The unit’s operation is based on a simple manual mode that provides tonal changes linked to knob positions, and also a memory mode that calls up a maximum of 10 pre-saved memories for performance. It also features a built-in BOSS-quality tuner with a MUTE function, allowing for comfortable live settings by preventing sound leakage between songs or noise during guitar changes. The AD-10 is also useful for recording. When connected to a PC via USB, it also functions as an audio interface, allowing you to create songs with high-quality acoustic guitar sound. It can be powered by six AA-size alkaline batteries for up to 6 hours of operation, and is also compatible with an AC adapter (PSA-100).

【Voltage Compatibility】 When using electrical appliances, please note that they are designed for Japanese voltage specifications (90-110V), so if you use them with a different voltage, it may cause a malfunction.

【Plug Type】 Our products use Japanese plug types (A or B type). Please use a conversion adapter if necessary.
