Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III CODE Edition is the direct sequel to the record-breaking Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Take on the role of Captain Price and command Strike Force 141 as they battle ultranationalist and war criminal Vladimir Makarov, who is expanding his influence across the globe.

Fighting a Great Threat – Adapt or Die

Makarov embroils the members of Strike Force 141 in a conflict they never expected. Combat is all about decision-making – from choosing your weapons to planning your next moves. In addition to the iconic, spectacular missions from previous Call of Duty campaigns, Modern Warfare III introduces open-world missions that give the player more control.

Open-world missions

• There's no single, predetermined way to complete a mission. • Complete freedom of choice – act stealthily or eliminate enemies in close combat.

Multiplayer – 20th Anniversary of Call of Duty

Modern Warfare III celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Call of Duty series with one of the largest collections of multiplayer maps, featuring both fan-favorites and brand new additions.

• 16 maps from the original Modern Warfare 2 (2009) – modernized and enriched with new modes and gameplay features, available to everyone at launch. • 12 new standard maps (6v6) will be available in subsequent seasons. • Innovative battle arenas on new "Ground War" maps. • The expanded "War" mode, which debuted and gained popularity in 2017's Call of Duty: WWII, returns with a bang.

A brand new open-world zombie experience

Gather a team and try to survive against massive hordes of the undead on the largest map ever in a Call of Duty zombie mode. Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ) is a new adventure from Treyarch with missions, secrets, and classic gameplay features.
