Lubri-Dam Technology: Ensure longer bar life with LubriDam®

The parameter specifying the length of a circular saw bar refers to its working part. It is measured from the point where the bar exits the saw to its nose. When determining the bar length, the length of the mounting nose, i.e., the part located in the saw, is NOT included.

For Oregon circular saw bars, the length in inches is indicated by the first two digits of the product code. For example, 158SLGK095 means the bar is 15 inches long.

This product is compatible with a 3/8" pitch (low profile)

What is a pitch system? Chain pitch is the distance between the centerlines of the first and third rivet (at any point on the chain) divided by two. The pitch throughout the entire cutting system (chain, guide bar, clutch drum) must be the same.

In the case of this product, the pitch is 3/8 inch (the distance between the three rivets is approximately 19 mm). Important! For used saw chains, this distance may increase due to chain wear and its tensile properties.

3/8 inch (low profile) is a common pitch used in small, lightweight chainsaws, whether gas or electric.
