The popular PRO1D Protector (W) filter has been renewed as the 'N' series with improved anti-reflection coating performance to dispel such concerns. This filter acts as a high-performance shield, protecting your valuable lens without compromising its original depiction ability.

■ Surface reflectance below 0.3%. DMC1-II coating maximizes lens performance. The filter’s performance depends on how much light it transmits and how well it suppresses reflection. This product adopts the newly developed 'DMC1-II' coating, an improved version of the DMC coating. As a result, the surface reflectance is reduced to below 0.3%, lower than the conventional 0.5%, greatly minimizing flare and ghosting caused by filter attachment and faithfully bringing out the lens’s inherent clarity.

■ Inner surface anti-reflection coating for superior backlit shooting. Although subtle, internal reflection significantly impacts image quality. By applying black paint around the edge (bevel) of the filter glass, internal reflections are thoroughly prevented. This reduces flare and ghosting even in challenging backlit conditions, preventing contrast loss in photos.

■ Thin frame design suitable for ultra-wide-angle lenses. The filter frame is designed thinner than usual to prevent vignetting (darkening at the corners) when used with ultra-wide-angle lenses.
