[Product Description]
■ The SMC-PRO ND8× reduces light by 1/8 without affecting color.
■ Adjusts the amount of light passing through the lens to prevent overexposure and allows beautiful capture of waterfalls and river flows like silk threads.
■ Achieves advanced vacuum deposition, extremely accurate light reduction rate, and low reflectivity on glass surfaces comparable to multi-coating. It also helps prevent image quality deterioration caused by over-iris when there is a lot of light.
■ The side of the lens features super multi-coating similar to high-performance protective filters, reducing flare that often occurs between the lens and filter when using ND.
■ Uses a slim filter frame designed to minimize vignetting when used with wide-angle lenses.
■ HAKUBA lens filters are reliably produced in Japan.
■ Despite its low price, it offers high performance comparable to higher-end models, making it a cost-effective ND filter.
* Since it is for light reduction, it is not suitable for indoor or low-light environments.
* The slim type filter is designed to prevent vignetting even with wide-angle lenses (thick filter frames may reflect into the image).
* Please check the filter screw thread and filter diameter on your camera lens beforehand.
The high-performance lens protection filter "SMC-PRO Lens Guard" now features an Amazon-exclusive ND filter. It is the first of our ND filters to have super multi-coating on the lens side.
It adjusts the amount of light passing through the lens without affecting color tone, enabling slow shutter or bokeh effects even on sunny days.
Using advanced vacuum deposition technology, the spectral transmittance of visible light is adjusted to be flat.
The lens side is coated with low-reflective coating similar to high-performance protective filters, reducing flare that can occur between the lens and filter when using ND.
Exposure multiplier: 8x, Aperture step: +3 stops, Glass reflectance: Low reflection 1.5%
