The "Kenko PRO1D Professional ND" series features high-precision ND filters with excellent color reproduction. The PRO1D ND coating emphasizes flat transmission characteristics, resulting in extremely high neutrality and superior color fidelity.

ND filters are used when you intentionally want to slow down the camera's shutter speed or open the aperture for shooting. They are ideal for adding a sense of motion to photos, such as flowing water or moving people, by slowing the shutter speed. They also prevent overexposure in scenes with excessive light, such as bright summer days, when shooting with wide-open apertures to blur the background.

In video shooting, they are used to adjust light levels to achieve appropriate shutter speeds relative to the frame rate (e.g., 1/2 of the frame rate, such as 1/60 for 30fps).

The "PRO1D Professional ND" is a fixed-density type that reduces a set amount of light. It is convenient for quick use when the reduction amount is predetermined. Unlike variable ND filters, it does not have structure-induced uneven density, making it recommended for those who prioritize image quality.
