Product Introduction

Sasacho Brewing is a traditional miso and soy sauce brewery established in Iwate Prefecture in 1906. With the motto of 'Quality First,' we create products rooted in rich natural surroundings, combining a long history with modern techniques. Our brewing uses Hayachine Spirit Water, which is snowmelt water from the area around Mount Hayachine, one of Japan's Top 100 Mountains. This underground water has naturally filtered through thick serpentinite layers over many years.

Ingredients:

Soup Base: Soy sauce (soybeans, wheat), dried bonito flakes, salt, mirin

- Content: Old-Style Soup Base (500ml) x 2 bottles - This gift set includes two bottles of popular soup base from Sasacho Brewing. - Made with naturally brewed soy sauce, the broth is carefully prepared by artisans using thickly shaved bonito flakes and seasoned with mirin for an authentic flavor. It is a 4x concentrated soup base. Natural Hayachine Spirit Water (Mineral Water) is used from raw material processing to the final product. - Since it is a dilution type, the dipping sauce can be diluted 4 times, and the pouring sauce 8 to 10 times. It can also be used widely for tempura dipping, hot pots, chawanmushi, and more. - It has received high praise in Nikkei Plus 1's 'Anything Ranking.' Additionally, it was selected as one of the top 10 ultimate souvenirs that can compete internationally, out of 496 items from the six Tohoku prefectures, in a contest hosted by the Reconstruction Agency.
