Shudder Microphones 2 Handheld Microphones SDR1802

The high-end Shudder SDR1802 microphone model with True Diversity system (two handheld microphones) utilizes True Diversity technology, a solution that combines two receivers, and thus two antennas for each channel. The True Diversity system automatically selects the stronger signal from a specific receiver for a specific channel and constantly monitors this level using a processor. When the system detects that the signal from receiver A is weaker than that of receiver B, which it is currently not using, it instantly and seamlessly switches between the receivers to use the receiver that is farther away from potential noise or has a better, more stable range. This technology ensures that we are working with the best possible signal, thus always using the maximum range. TD technology is standard with leading manufacturers such as Shudder. Microphones using this technology are used in vocal applications, where signal strength is extremely important.
