A new approximately 35mm diameter full-range speaker unit compatible with high-resolution audio has been designed to reduce energy loss in the mid-to-high range. A structure is adopted where the center cap of the diaphragm is directly adhered to the voice coil bobbin. In addition, expanding the diameter of the voice coil has improved the thickness, volume, and clarity of vocals. Furthermore, the power circuit has been improved by adopting solid polymer aluminum electrolytic capacitors and film capacitors, also used in Walkman’s high-quality models. This has improved sound resolution and realized a wider sound field. In addition, the internal structure of the unit has been reviewed, increasing the volume by approximately 10% from the previous h.ear go “SRS-HG1” model to achieve powerful, deep bass. The resin plate on the bottom surface and the chassis inside the unit are directly connected with screws to ensure clarity in the low range. Furthermore, screws near the rubber feet are offset from the central axis of the rubber feet to disperse unnecessary resonance.

Expanded music experience with network functions and voice control.

High-resolution audio files, including those stored on hard disks on the home network, can be played via Wi-Fi. It also supports Chromecast built-in and Spotify Connect, allowing you to play music streaming services directly through the device via Wi-Fi without using a smartphone. Multi-room playback, where the same music is streamed simultaneously from compatible audio equipment on the home network, is also available. Furthermore, you can stream music from streaming services from the h.ear go 2 “SRS-HG10” using voice commands from a Google Assistant-compatible smart speaker.
