You can adjust it to your child's waist
If the strap is too long for your child, you can shorten it yourself! To do this:
1. gently pry the buckle from the inside so as not to scratch it and remove the buckle
2. cut the strap to the desired length
3. secure the cut end by carefully burning it with fire using e.g. a lighter
4. tighten the buckle on the belt and it's ready!
Since the shortening is done from the buckle side, any imperfections will not be visible - everything will be nicely hidden under the buckle.
Note - the pictorial instructions for shortening the belt were made on an example belt Betlewski® brand canvas, so the color of the buckle and the color of the tape in the photos with the instructions may differ slightly from the ones you chose.
