Each of us is different, so there is no universal belt size. The Betlewski® brand offers a whole range of belts of various lengths. Sizing is very important.
Measure your circumference at the height you wear your belt - this is your size! This is the distance from the beginning of the buckle to the middle hole. We recommend fastening your belt using the middle hole, so that you have extra length on each side if necessary.
Allegro's parameters include the "length without buckle" value; please pay attention to this. The belt size (circumference) is provided in the auction content and in the title.
Is the belt a gift?
Don't know which size to choose? Measure the belt of the person receiving the gift. Measure it from the beginning of the buckle to the deepest hole - this is their waist circumference. You can also measure the circumference of their pants' waist.
Alternatively, we recommend choosing a longer strap and, if necessary, shortening it according to the instructions.
Shorten it yourself!
The metal buckle has a classic, elegant look. It's attached to a screw, so you can shorten the belt yourself to fit your waist.
1. unscrew the screw;
2. shorten the belt with scissors or an upholstery knife to the desired length;
3. punch a small hole for the screw and put the buckle back on.
You don't have to worry about the belt losing its appearance. The cut end will be hidden under the buckle mounting and will remain invisible.
Note - the pictorial instructions for shortening the strap were made on a sample Betlewski® brand belt, so the shape of the buckle and color in the photos with the instructions may differ slightly from the one you selected.
