A carpenter's clamp is one of the basic tools in the workshop used in carpentry and woodworking. Its main task is to hold various wooden elements in place during gluing, drilling, cutting, or other woodworking operations.

This tool ensures stability and precision during work, which is crucial in woodworking projects. The construction of a carpenter's clamp is quite simple and consists of a few key components: a handle, jaws, and a clamping screw, which regulates the pressure and distance between the jaws.

The operation of a carpenter's clamp is based on the principle of moving the screws up or down, which causes the jaws to move closer or further apart. As the user tightens the screws, the jaws of the clamp press against the wood, holding them in a stable position.

To adjust the pressure, the user adjusts the force of the screws, allowing for precise adjustment to the required work area. A carpenter's clamp is an extremely useful tool that allows carpenters to work with wood precisely and safely.
